I have safely arrived in Santiago, Chile. It’s been a long long flight and lots of shopping was done on the way here.
Firstly my team leaders (2 of them) each bought a Wii in the airport under the pretend to foster team work while in Chile/ Peru!! They also got 4 games each with the package!
Then while walking around the new Madrid airport, I bought a pair of Tous earring and purse!!
I think I will stay away from the shopping mall as long as I can!

View from the plane as we flew in to Santiago.
It’s that time again… will be leaving to the airport in 3 hours’ time.
Destination: Santiago, Chile.
Am not really looking forward this time. Will be away for 2 months. But luckily Dav will be coming to join me at the end of the audit for 2 weeks holiday. We’re planning to head to Argentina.
Can’t wait for the holiday not the audit!!
Signing off from London, UK.
I haven’t been playing much with the camera but I did a few test shots last Sunday. Steph played a bit with the camera but she got bored soon after.. I guess I’m going to be the ‘lifetime’ designated photographer.

Steph.

Me. Interesting close up shot, taken by Steph.
Today we were invited to a friend’s house to watch a UFC match. UFC stands for ‘Ultimate Fighting Championship‘. I’ve never really like boxing or WWF or anything similar. But Dav has been introduced to this ‘sport’ (if you can call it sport) when I introduced him to my friend. This friend has been ‘feeding’ Dav with DVDs that contains UFC’s matches. Plus everytime we meet-up, UFC is always one of the conversation’s topic. There’s also plans to watch a match live in London!!
So what’s UFC? To me, it’s just like boxing with a twist. The twist is you can use any style you want to fight your opponent within the boundary of the rules. So different fighter will adopt different fighting style (ie judo, jujitsu, akido, etc etc). It is quite brutal and gross… cos the participants do not wear any protective gear and each match tends to end with blood flowing and the ‘cage’ stained with lots of blood. Dav actually like it.
Thus I’m sure you understand why I’m not really a big fan (actually his gf is not a big fan either! hahahaha). However since this friend was so sincere and wanted me to watch it, I decided to give it a chance and off we went after work today to his place.
What’s my verdict? Well …..
- Was it entertaining? Yes, in a gross kind of way
- Will I recommend it to my friends? Prolly not
- Will I watch it again? Only when I am very bored and there’s nothing on tv
- Â Will I pay to watch the match live? Only if the ticket price is reasonable or someone buy my ticket!
In summary, I do think that it is quite an experience watching the game, but I find it too gross and cruel. Plus I will never understand why anyone would put themselves in such situation….

Who says men would be reluctant to go shopping with their better half??? I’ve got one exception here…
Dav is always a willing partner when I mention I want to go shopping. Sometimes he even insists on coming along with me. There’s a lot of benefits of him coming along….
- Pay for all my shopping… hehehehe not always but he does offer
- Carry the shopping bags especially when the shops provide huge bags
- Provide unbiased opinion…NOT!
- Provide companionship
It’s interesting to note, I have not been shopping with my female friends for a long time now. I don’t really like window shopping. I’m more of a targeted shopping person. I know what I want and will go straight to the particular shop to get it (sounds like a guy!!).
So do you like shopping with the opposite sex?
