We’re back!!!!
Seems like we’ve been away for soooo long. In fact, we have only been away for 17 days.
I’m feeling really sleepy now and I have to work tomorrow. So this is gonna be a quick update.
We had lots of fun in India. It was truly a great experience living in an Indian village with my friend’s family, preparing for an Indian wedding hands-on and then traveling around South India for 10 days with a great bunch of newly made friends.
Will update more in the next few days. Time to ZZzzZZzzz….
We will be flying to India this Saturday to attend a good friend’s wedding and then we will be touring around Southern India for 2 weeks.

We’ve been back for one week now. I know there hasn’t been much update about the trip. I’ve been taken ill and Dav is just busy catching up with his PS3 games.
Anyhow, I have managed to complete 2 items (of course there will be more to come). Firstly, I have put together a listing of things we brought with us as a reference to anyone who is planning to do the same thing as a guide. Secondly, I have provided a brief overview of our journey starting from London to Moscow.

We’re home !!
Our trip finally ended.
We had lots of fun and did not regret doing this (although some people think we’re mad!).
Stories about our trip will have to be posted in stages. There’s just so much to tell. I kept a dairy to ensure that I remember everything about the trip, people we have meet and food we have tried. The diary consists of 44 pages! So, at some point I’ll have to transferred that into the blog…
Now that this holiday has ended, we are already starting to plan for our next trip! We’ll be going to India in Jan 2010 to attend a friend’s wedding. We’ll also take the opportunity to travel around South India for 2 weeks. We just bought our air tickets yesterday, so there will be no backing out of this trip!
We celebrated the end of the trip with a bottle of champagne yesterday night. 
We arrived yesterday afternoon. Beijing is our last stop on the Trans-Siberian/ Mongolian train. Can’t believe we’ve been on the road (literally) for 2 weeks!
Another 2 days here then off to Shanghai. 2 days there then it’s off to HK. We’re dreading the time when we have to fly back to London.
We can’t seem to access Facebook in Beijing. So we assume it’s still banned in China. Therefore there won’t be any update on our FB status till we get to HK.
