My current fav iPhone application is Polarize. The application allows you to add a funky retro look to your pictures.
Check out these photos Dav and I have taken. The application also allows the user to add a short description to your pictures. Just like when you write a short description to your polaroid picture!
This pic was taken by Dav when we were on the train heading home. I was busy playing Sudoku.
Salmon sashimi in Kulu Kulu Sushi. Went there for dinner with AA today. Very fresh! Definitely will go back with Dav in the future.
Do not mistaken this with Transformer. Gundam is a metaseries of Japanese anime, featuring giant robots, or “mecha”, created by Sunrise studios back in 1979!!
We went to Wimbledon Village for dinner today. The sun was out. The weather was warm. Such a good setting to try out my new camera. Here’s some shots taken, unedited, on the 16:9 aspect ratio setting.
What do you think?
Taking pic at this ratio somehow distort the picture abit.
A view of our living room. I like the black and white contrast.
Dav trying to jump into the picture.
View of Wimbledon War Memorial as the sun sets.
View of Wimbledon Village. Check out the clouds… so nice! I like.
I got myself a new camera. To be precise, I bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. Dav and MK recommended it. Dav is equally as excited as I am… prolly cos he wans to use it as well. LoL.
It looks and feels like those old cameras. It’s not exactly a SLR. I wanted a compact which can produce quality pictures like the SLR. It even has a Leica lens. Our household do not need 2 SLRs …. not yet anyway… hahahaha
I just received the camera today. So I will need some time to learn how to use it and also I will need to really understand what is shutter speed and aperture to maximize the usage of the camera.
Will write more about the camera and the quality of the picture it takes in the near future.
Note to self: good camera + bad photographer does not produce good pictures.
